Making that perfect mix of your screens is another thought. And personally, this is how I arrange my apps. By putting the apps you use most on the main screen, the screen you can jump to the easiest, it’s simpler to get to them each time. Then you move apps that you rarely use, but still need, to the last screen. If you’re a visual person who uses mind maps and graphical interfaces, then using colors to arrange your Home screen is a terrific option. Then use the App Library to quickly find apps hidden on different pages.
On the front screen, you may want to have your most frequently accessed apps, or perhaps the default apps that Apple includes. Alternately, you can just dedicate individual screens or parts of screens to specific app categories. Use a second finger to swipe to the left until you reach a blank home screen. But would be nice to have the possibility to install some apps twice. It’s actually only installed once despite showing up twice on the screen. The reason it is showing up in the Dock is because of the Suggested Apps feature on iPad.

Deleting unneeded apps is always a good solution. If you have hundreds of apps, there are bound to be many you rarely or never use, so get rid of them. Some may even be running operations in the background that drain your battery. The interface below will pop up after clicking Arrange Home Screen button.

These are my favorite methods to remove clutter, keep things easy to find, and add a little bit of visual appeal to your iPhone Home Screen. I love my apps and widgets, but I can't stand clutter. It drives me nuts to have to spend several minutes looking for an app on my iPhone.

By replacing default app icons with images of your choice you can freely customize the look of your home screen. Let go of the app icons to drop them back onto any Home screen . I arranged all mine into 26 folders named a thru z. I used the web site “blank” to start then named each by the alphabet. Drag apps from the list on the left to the Home screen on the right. If you want to move an icon to another screen, instead of dragging it to the side, pick it up by dragging it a short distance and then use another finger the swipe to the next screen. When you rearrange apps, they don’t push through to the next page either. Let’s not forget about the dock at the bottom of the phone.
So moving icons of the same color together can help you easily find the app you need. And you can sort of meld them together with blues turning into greens and yellows turning into oranges. Touch and hold the app icon, then tap Delete App. Now that all your icons look cute, your widgets are set up, all you need to do is move everything around until you have something that works for you.
